Annual Skills Refresher - Half-Day First Aid Update Course

This first aid training course is a 3 hour annual refresher for candidates already holding a valid First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate.
Its core topics involve refreshing the key skills of:

• Acting safely and promptly in the event of an emergency
• CPR (theory and practise)
• Care of the unconscious casualty (inc. recovery position)
  
• Choking
  
• Control of bleeding.

The HSE guidelines published in October 2009 "strongly recommend" that this is undertaken annually in between initial First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification and each subsequent requalification.

A valid First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certificate is an essential prerequisite of this course.

In-house course price: £250 + VAT (for up to 10 candidates).
Open course price: £45 + VAT per candidate.
